1. All sorts of killifish may be displayed
2. Individuals, members as well as nonmembers of aquarist clubs, and groups of breeders, free of charge
3. Each collection in Category 1 – 10 is represented by a pair or trio (male + 2 female) or 2 pieces (hermaphrodite), and group as a collection is represented by 3 pairs or 2 trios (2 males + 4 females), or 6 pieces of hermaphrodites. Alternative collections are permitted.
4. The assessment will be done in the following categories:
Group 1 – North America and Euro-Asia (Aphanius & Fundulus & Jordanella & Valencia & Cyprinodon) & Others
Group 2 – Rivulus
Group 3 – South America (Aphyolebias, Austrolebias, Simpsonichtys, Terranatos, Nematolebias,)
Group 4 – Nothobranchius, Fundulosoma & Pronothobranchius
Group 5 – Aplochelius, Epiplatys & Panypanchax
Group 6 – Chromaphyosemion
Group 7 – Aphyosemion I (small fish, Diapteron,)
Group 8 – Aphyosemion II (Aphyosemion)
Group 9 – Fundolopanchax
Group 10 – Callopanchax
The decision of the jury (possibly international) is unassailable, decisive and final. The maximum score is 10 points.
5. The following conditions will be ensured for all displayed collections:
Blocks of glued tanks with sections of around 10 liters (dimensions: 20x20x25 cm), cover glass, dark color of the background and bottom (or gray-blue), day lighting, slight aeration, water parameters: temperature min. 22°C. pH 7, dGH 12 degrees.
Mark “S” on the transport bag if the displayed fish need addition of salt in water; if any specific requirements regarding water parameters must be observed for the displayed fish, specify them on the transport bag or in the application.
The bottom of the tanks is either peat or sand-gravel, there should be plants in the tanks, if possible. The plants may be supplied by the exhibitors together with the fish.
6. The displayed collections will not be returned; sending fish, you assign them to the ownership of the Czech Killifish Company; the yield from the auction of the displayed fish will be used for covering the exhibition costs.
7. Cups (or other prizes) will be awarded to: the winner of the show, first three collections in every category as per Point 4 and the best group in every category. The organizer reserves the right to reward other exhibitors as well.
8. The results will be announced and the prizes will be awarded at the evening party on 24th June 2006.
9. All fish must be well-packed, the transport bags must be legibly marked (by stickers, permanent felt-pen, etc.), including the fish genus, sort, place of their collection, and the full name, address of the sender, including the name of his/her organization and member club-number.
10. Delivering the collections, the exhibitor expresses his approval to the terms defined in these directions.Program:
