The 41th AKFB congress will take place from 29rd to 31th March (last week-end of March)at the Charleroi Airport Hotel ( Gosselies).uWe will present you the place in this booklet and also on our web site http://www.akfb.be
Competition – Show :
As usual , 12 groups are defined and 3 awards will be attributed as well as one breeder’s award for each group :
1.Europeans, Asian and nord-american species (excl. Aplocheilus and Rivulus/Kryptolebias)
2.Rivulus
3.Annuals from South America
4.Nothobranchius, Fundulosoma et Pronothobranchius
5 Population and sub-species of F.gardneri
6.Chromaphyosemions
7.Super-species : Calliurum , Elegans et sous-genre Kathetys
8.Other small Aphyosemions
9.Roloffia (Callopanchax-Archiaphyosemion et Scriptaphyosemion)
10.Epiplatys, Aplocheilus et Pachypanchax
11.Procatopodinae
12.Fundulopanchax et Raddaella
Only the fishes announced and registered can participate in the competition . Unannounced fishes will be accepted in line with the available aquariums. Any fish arriving after the start of the judgement ,Saturday 30th March at 10 AM, cannot participate.
Special awards will also be attributed:
❖ Best of show
❖ Best Foreign fish
❖ Best Belgian fish
❖ Epi-centre for the best Lampeyes
Special awards traditionally offered by the other participating associations will also rewards the participating breeders.
In 2019 , the points received in our show will be credited towards the European championship.
At the end of the show, all fishes are participating in the Sunday auctions.
Registration of fishes :
Be aware, whatever the registration mode, it is recommended that your fishes are registered by Sunday March 23th 2019 at the latest.

On top of the fishes show, a digital photo competition is also organised (photo should be on CD) The participating photo should be sent to JP Vandersmissen for March 15th at the latest. One single award will be attributed by participants to the congress (who do not participate in the photo-show)
