Convenção SEK 2018

Olá a todos,

Estamos a três meses da Convenção dos nossos amigos do outro lado da fronteira.
Está na altura de nos começarmos a organizar. Quem vai com quem, onde vamos ficar, que peixes enviar.
Tenho por hábito dizer que uma mão lava a outra. Na relação cordial e amiga que temos com a SEK é altura de correspondermos a todo o apoio que nos tem sido dado na realização das nossa Convenções.
A SEK merece todo o nosso apoio.

Killifish competition

The competition categories will be:
• Group I: Callopanchax, Fundulopanchax, Gularopanchax, Paludopanchax, Paraphyosemion &
Raddaella.
• Group II: Archiaphyosemion, Mesoaphyosemion (Callirium group) & Scriptaphyosemion.
• Group III: Aphyosemion & Mesoaphyosemion (except for Callirium group).
• Group IV: Chromaphyosemion, Diapteron & Kathetys.
• Group V: Aphyoplatys, Aplocheilus, Epiplatys, Episemion & Pachypanchax.
• Group VI: Small Rivulus.
• Group VII: Big Rivulus.
• Group VIII: Fundulosoma & Nothobranchius.
• Group IX: South American annuals.
• Group X: Aphanius.
• Group XI: Other genres, including Oryzias genre.

The fishes for the competition need to be, necesarily, inscribes before 15:00 h on Wednesday
April 18 by email sek2018@killis.es detailing breeder’s name, association, member’s number,
species, location and the group’s description (couple, trio, inverse trio or breeding group).
And the fishes must be delivered before 11:00 h on Saturday April 21.

The allowed modalities are: couples, trios (1 male and 2 females), inverse trios (1 female and 2
males) and breeding groups (3 couples or 2 trios).

There will be 3 prizes per group and 1 prize for the best breeding group in each group. All the
killifish will become property of the SEK and will be sold at the public auction on Sunday April 22.

Photography competition
Photos that reflect the activities and everything surrounding the killi-world. The presentation
deadline is March 25. The best photography of the exhibition will be awarded.
Any adult who is a member of any killifish association can participate, presenting a limit of up to 3
photos without any signature, name or author identification.
The photos must be sent, by e-mail, to sek2018@killis.es
The photo size will be 20×30 cm, color, either horizontal or vertical, in digital format. The
maximum size allowed for each photo is 5 MB. We recommend a minimum digital resolution of
300 ppp and RGB mode.
The pictures must be original and exclusive to the author and they must never have been awarded
at any photography competition, as well as be free from copyrights. Photomontages or digitally
altered pictures will not be allowed (except for the effects of photographic development).
The photographies will become property of the SEK, which will be allowed to use, reproduce,
exhibit or spread them, mentioning the author.
You must send the photos as an attachment, by e-mail, using a text file with:
− Title of each photo, linked to the name of the corresponding file.
− Brief explanation of each photo. It’s recommended to mention if the picture is vertical or
horizontal, and any other information to facilitate to the proper exhibition of the photo.
− Author information: name, association, country and e-mail address.
