The Associação Portuguesa de Killifilia (Portuguese Killifish Association) intends to stimulate the maintenance, spreading and preservation of egglaying fishes of the Cyprinodontiformes order, commonly known as Killifish, as well as to disclose information or knowledge about them.

The Association’s head office is located in Praça Duque do Cadaval, 2-A 9º Esq, em Santo António dos Cavaleiros, Loures.

1.    Can become members individuals or legal persons that signup and agree with the Statutes and Internal Regulation.

2.    Members can be excluded by misconduct, considered by the Directive Board and approved in the first meeting of the General Assembly.

3.    Members are obligated to an annual payment, which is defined regarding the age group, deliberated by the General Assembly.

The General Assembly, the Directive Board and the Supervisory Board are the Governing Bodies of the Associação Portuguesa de Killifilia (Portuguese Killifish Association).

The General Assembly table is constituted by a Chairman, a Vice-President and a Secretary. Their duties are to convoke and lead the General Assembly and to write the minute.

The Directive Board is constituted by a Chairman, a Vice-president and three members. They are in charge of the management and to represent the Association externally.

The Supervisory Board has a President and two members. They monitor the management of the Directive Board and check bills and reports.

Whenever something in these statues is missing, the rules of the Civil Code and the Internal Regulation are applied. The Internal Regulation approval and changes are the responsibility of the General Assembly.
